Irene MALONEY Obituary
Irene Theresa Maloney, from Austin, Texas went to be with the Lord at age 85 on October 18th, 2013. Irene was born July 5, 1928 in Hackensack, New Jersey and was a long time resident of Manhattan, New York.
Irene was a student of art and history and a lifetime member of the New York Metropolitan Museum of Art.
She was predeceased by her husband, William H. Maloney and her brother, Thomas Harr. She is survived by her step-children: William Maloney of Bridgeport, WV, Janine Ray of Round Rock, TX, Michele Maloney of Henderson, NV, Nicole Maloney of Le Val Andre, France and Patrick Maloney of San Francisco, CA. She is also survived by eight grand-daughters and several great grandchildren. The family wishes to thank and acknowledge Mrs. Delia Dominguez for her servant's heart and friendship expressed to Irene through the years.
A visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at Cook-Walden Chapel of the Hills. The Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 24, 2013 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, burial will follow service at 3:00 p.m. at Central Texas Veterans Cemetery in Killeen.
In lieu of flowers, the family wishes any donations to be made in Irene's name to Breath of Life Ministries.
