Isabel FIEBRICH Obituary

FIEBRICH, Isabel Francis Isabel Francis Fiebrich, age 73, of Rockne, Texas, passed away on September 8, 2017, in her sleep on the family homeplace. Isy, as we all knew her, was born February 18, 1944, in Jarrell Texas, to Timothy and Francis Havelka. She was very proud of her maiden name Havelka and her Czech roots. One of four children, she grew up in Jarrell, Texas and graduated salutatorian from Jarrell High School in 1962. Isabel moved to Austin where she met and fell in love with her first husband, James (Jimmy) Fiebrich. The two met on a double-date where they were both with someone else, but the opportunistic Jim got the phone number of the other guy's date, Isabel. The two were married in 1966 in Corn Hill, Texas, where Isabel's family was from and moved to Austin to raise their family. Isabel worked at Southwestern Bell until retirement, and Jim and Isabel raised three sons working very hard to put all three through college. Michael and Stephen went to The University of Texas at Austin and Richard to Texas State University in San Marcos. After the passing of Jimmy's mother, Paula Fiebrich, Jim, Isabel and young Richie moved back to the family homestead in Rockne. They soon built their dream home not far from the original farmhouse and settled into the tight knit local community. Sadly Jimmy, passed away unexpectedly in 2007 which was a huge blow to Isabel and the family. Due to the strength and resolve of herself, her family and the strong community that she lived in, she eventiually remarried Mr. W.C. (Bill) Frymire of Weir, Texas, her high-school sweetheart, on 9 May, 2015 at a ceremony in Rockne, Texas. Anyone who lives in or near Rockne, Texas knows and loves Isabel and her hospitality, warm personality and the swelling pride she showered her three sons with were famous. Isabel was preceded in death by her first husband James Fiebrich, her parents Timothy and Francis Havelka and her older brother Lawrence Havelka. She is survived by her second husband Bill Frymire, her three sons, Michael Fiebrich and his partner David Hoss, Dr. Stephen Fiebrich and his wife Georgia Fiebrich, and Richard Fiebrich and his wife Heather Fiebrich, her sisters Helen Jezisek and Edith Goertz, as well as Bill Frymire's son, Charles Frymire and his son, Preston Frymire; who became another grandchild that she loved as much as her own. Stephen and Georgia gave her two beautiful grandchildren, Skylar and Sebastian Fiebrich. Pallbearers will be Timothy Fiebrich, Greg Fiebrich, James Havelka, Timothy Havelka, Darren Goertz, Chris Goertz, Jeffrey Meuth and Tony Sells. A Rosary Service will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Rockne on Tuesday, September 12, 2017, at 7:00 p.m., and the Funeral Mass will be held at the same venue at 10:30 a.m., September 13, 2017. Burial to follow in the church cemetery. "We will all carry the memory of your warmth in our hearts forever and will continue to show you the love and pride that you gave us. It helps our suffering to know you and our Dad are finally together again. We will all see you again in Heaven."Arrangements are by Marrs-Jones- Newby Funeral Home, 505 Old Austin Highway, Bastrop, Texas.

Isabel was so lovely. I worked with her for many years at SWBT and SBC. My fondest memory of Isabel was when she would walk by my office, hesitate outside the glass wall until I looked up, and then smile her dazzling smile just for me.

Words cannot express how much Isabel meant to so many people. She was a beautiful and caring person. Having worked with Isabel at Southwestern Bell Telephone Co. for so many years, the memories will be cherished forever. The many dances, softball tournaments, time spent in the beauty shop and work related activities are just a few.
Here is a special message that applies to Isabel...it takes a minute to find a special friend, an hour to appreciate them, a day to love them, but it takes an entire lifetime to forget them.
May God bless your beautiful family.

I was totally shocked when I read my friend, Isabel, from SWBT had passed away. We were immediately drawn toward each other at work, and when we found out we both came from the Czech culture, we both knew why. She was beautiful, so sweet and always looked as if she just stepped out of a fashion magazine. Rest in peace my friend.

I was so saddened to read of Isabel's passing. She was one of the sweetest, kindest people I've ever known. It has been years since I've seen her, but she is not one to ever be forgotten. May you rest in peace, sweet lady.

My heartfelt condolences to the family. I read of Isabel's passing, and even though many years have passed, the second I saw Isabel's name, it brought back rememberance of having known her during my career with Soutwestern Bell, very well possible I could have been under her management. Such a pretty lady. Her eyes in this photo still have the same remembrance of Isabel. Rest In Peace Isabel, and may fond memories of you comfort your family and friends left behind.

I knew Isabel for most of my life, as she and my mother, Lorene Woodall were close friends and worked together at Southwestern Bell Telephone Co. in Austin. Our families had many good times together in Austin, which continued even after my family moved to Johnson City......There were so many barbecues, picnics, swimming parties and ball games our families attended together that it's impossible for me to reckon their number. Isabel was a fantastic cook, the kindest of friends, and a truly beautiful person, inside and out. Isabel will be truly missed.
I'd like to extend my deepest sympathy to Isabel's lovely family and her many, many friends. May God bless you all.
