Ken was a Sweetheart. I am so sad at his passing. I met Ken thru Herbie Beard, who was also a long time volunteer of the House of Friends, an Alzheimer support program at Bethany United Methodist Church. His ready smile and kindnesses will long be remembered.

I am proud to have called Beaver a best friend, since 1957 at Berea College. In fact, I always felt he was like a brother. He was kind, generous, funny, loved his family, and had numerous true friends. My wife, Genie, and I will miss him terribly. We shared a lifetime of great memories. He will live on in the thoughts of everyone who was fortunate enough to have known him. I’m sure he has St. Peter laughing, playing golf and having a scotch in the clubhouse.
Our condolences and love to Marlene, Lisa, Ken and family.

My husband Michael and I only knew Ken from seeing him at church. He always gave the best hello hugs. We will miss him asking about how did I feel and how was Michael’s golf game. We know he will be missed by many from our church.
