I truly admired Jan. She was very a classy, smart biz woman. You might say she was a "connector" someone who can connect you to other people. It was a true honor to design Jan's book, "Building Career Equity." We updated it (2nd edition) in 2016. I will truly miss you, Jan!! Rest in peace.

Words cannot express how sad I am to hear of Jan's passing. I met Jan in our Arthur Andersen days and worked with her again when she consulted to West Monroe Partners, a professional services firm that embraced Jan's book and greatly benefited from her counsel. What always struck me about Jan was how her outside matched her inside - bright, professional, fun, positive, enthusiastic, and authentic. Her ideas were packaged in such a clever, rational, and attractive way that people were always motivated to become the best they could be. We loved it when she facilitated our development sessions, and I loved our long talks and belly laughs. I am blessed to have known and worked with Jan. She was truly a special person, and her legacy lives on.

It has been my privilege to serve with Jan on the HSMO Purses for Pooches committee since Jan originated the event. Our last memories of her are her smiling face and gracious personality at last month's HSMO event.
Jan's loving heart improved the lives of thousands of people and animals. She was a beacon of hope and a force for good for all of us in the rescue community and the animals we love.
Jan I know you were met by lots of wagging tails and purrs to escort you across the Bridge.
