Arthur A. "Art" Kaminshine

Arthur A. “Art” Kaminshine, age 84 of Cushing, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 06, 2008, at the Select Specialty Hospital in Oklahoma City. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday at the Palmer Marler Funeral Home Chapel. Troy Hall will officiate. Interment will follow at the Memorial Park Cemetery, Tulsa. Arrangements are entrusted to Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Cushing. Art was born on Oct. 2, 1924, in Brooklyn, N.Y. He graduated from high school and attended college. Art was a veteran of the Army Air Corp, serving in W.W.II. He married Constance Johnson in Sept. 1997 at Hot Springs, Ark. Art was CEO of ESECO. Art is survived by his wife Constance of the home, sons Jerry Kaminshine and wife Betty Ann of Cushing and Robert Dale Kaminshine, sister Ann Slackman of Las Vegas, grandchildren Marshall and wife Adrienne, Meredith, and one great grandchild Peyton. Art is preceded in death by his parents and one sister Adele. Memorial contributions may be made in Art’s name to the Education Foundation or the Cushing Rodeo.
