Judith "Judy" Ann Lemon, age 70, born on November 30, 1947. She passed away peacefully on Saturday August 18, 2018, at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, MS. After several months of being ill, Judy is finally at rest.
Judy was a high school graduate and longtime resident of Long Beach, Mississippi.
She was preceded in death by her father, Clinton Lawrence Amacker; her mother, Dixie Lee Amacker; two brothers, Donald Eric Amacker and Thomas Clinton Amacker; both of her biological children, Teresa Lynelle Lemon and Jeffrey Shane Lemon.
Judy is survived by her husband of 43 years, Terry R Lemon; step-son, Paul Lemon; three loving daughter-in-laws, Brandy Lemon, Ivy Lemon and Sonya Moran (Steven); one brother, Doug Amacker (Lynn); two sisters, Patty Pierro (Albert) and Kathy Fedele; one sister-in-law, Caroline Amacker; eight grandchildren, Tamara Lemon, Taylor Lemon, Dylan Lemon, Nicole Lemon, Tanner Lemon, Caden Stone, Gabe Lemon and Leighann Lemon; many nieces and nephews.
Judy was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She will be remembered for the strong strength and determination she had, her sense of humor, her love for animals and the unconditional love she had for her grandbabies.
Friends and family are invited to attend Judy's Funeral Service on Thursday, August 23, 2018 at 12 noon, at WHITE FUNERAL HOME, 315 Hwy 11 South, Poplarville, MS. Visitation will be held from 10:00 am - 12:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Juniper Grove Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family ask for donations to be made to the American Cancer Society, 1-800-227-2345.
