Helen Ann Walker Purdy
March 9, 1938 - March 22, 2021
Pascagoula , Mississippi - Ann Walker Purdy of Pascagoula, passed away at the age of 83 on March 22, 2021. Ann was a lifelong resident of the Mississippi Gulf Coast. She had a passion for life and spending time with family and friends. She enjoyed many years of boating, traveling, and playing cards with her girlfriends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Purdy, father, Arnold V. Walker; mother, Genevieve Broussard Walker; brothers, Dickie Walker, Broussard Walker, Sr. and sister, Kathy Hanning.
She is survived by her children, Stefanie (Allen) Ferrell, Bruce (Robin) Small, Beth (Hal) Simer, Susan (Eddie) Russell, Kathy (David) Keech, step-children, Cindy (Randy) Canady, Ginger (Kenny) Christian, Gill (Blanche) Purdy, Toni (John) Lindgren; brother, Arnold "Skippy" Walker, and her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family wishes memorial contributions be made to the Mississippi Maritime Museum, 609 Dupont Ave., Pascagoula, MS
A Celebration of her life will be at a later date.
