Thomas Tortora Obituary

Tortora, Thomas James "Tom", of Coconut Creek, FL passed away suddenly on July 27, 2009. He was born in Brooklyn, NY on July 1, 1926. Tom married the love of his life, Jeannette Pucilla on October 11, 1951. Together in Brooklyn they raised three children and moved to Florida in 1988. Tom and Jeannette were involved in many organizations. A few of these included the Township's Mens Club, The Italian American Club, Founder of the Township Sons of Italy and Board Member on the Township Finance Committee. Tom leaves behind his loving wife of 57 years, Jeannette; his son Jimmy, and his wife Connie; two daughters, Rochelle and Teresa and their husbands, William and Bill. He also leaves behind his heartbroken grandchildren, Tommy, his wife Sheree, Jimmy, Michelle, Raquel, Will, Dana, Matthew and Madeline. He also leaves behind a brother, two sisters and too many dear friends to mention. Visitation will be Tuesday (today) from 2-4 & 5-8 pm at Kraeer F.H A Mass will be said 10:00 am Wednesday, July 29th at San Isidro Church, Pompano Beach, FL. KRAEER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION CENTER, 1655 University Dr., Coral Springs, FL 33071, (954)753-8960. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Tom's name to a charity of your choice.
