Gene Franks, 93, of Springdale, and nationally known artist, died Thursday, January 28, 2021, at his home. He was born May 6, 1927, in Charleston. He is survived by his wife, Jane Franks. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Friday, February 12, Heritage Funeral Home Chapel, burial following at Fayetteville National Cemetery. Online obituary at heritageofnwa.com.
