Sherry Lee Franks

Sherry Lee Franks, was born on August 6, 1945 in Detroit, Michigan to Thomas and Beatrice Carey. Sherry, who resided in Dearborn Heights, Michigan, passed away on January 26, 2026 at the age of 80. Sherry is the beloved wife of the late Billy Franks. Loving mother of Jackie (Jack) Clark, Joe (Katherine) Murphy, Kelly (Glen) Adams, Ronnie Franks, and Steve (Sue) Franks. Dear sister of Tommy, Karen, Brenda, Tammy, and Tabby. Dearest grandmother of 18. Loving great-grandparent of 35 and great-great grandmother 11. Sherry was preceded in death by her parents, her children Larry (the late Darlene) Franks, Robert (Sandy) Franks and her siblings Diana, Barb, Debbie, Marlene, and Darlene. She is also survived by many other loving family and friends.

Visitation Thursday, January 29, 2026 from 2:00-8:00 p.m. at the Taylor Chapel of Voran Funeral Home, 23750 Goddard Road. (313) 291-1800. Funeral service Friday 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
