My sincere condolences for Jonie's family, Cindy and the kids. I know how much she loved you all. Jonie began as my mentor at work, and quickly became my very close friend. She always encouraged me to live to the fullest degree, and I hope to grow to have the strength and grace that she shared. To Jonie's parents, thank you for giving me the joy of being Jonie's friend.

In loving memory of such a wonderful person. I truly enjoyed working with Jonie at the PBGC she was such a caring and generous person. She was very funny and we spent countless hours laughing, telling stories about life and listening to music as we worked. We will love you and miss you always!

Jonie was an awesome person. She was caring, generous and a good friend to many here at the PBGC. She was committed to providing excellent customer service, dedicated to the job and the mission. She did the work of two people and worked until she could work no more. Jonie received several awards while in the Retiree Service Division including the "I Did It" award and the 1st employee to receive the RSD employee of the year award. It was a honor and a blessing to have Jonie as an employee and I will remember her fondly forever. She is missed. She loved her family and may her love and memories be with you always.

Jonie was a loyal, generous, and loving friend. She was always there for her friends and never wanted to be anyone's burden. She loved great food and good company. She always put a big smile on me when I was down. I am going to remember her with all the fond memories we had together. She is and will be missed dearly.

Jonie's sense of humor was like no other. Her approach to life was to keep it simple and go with the flow. I had the pleasure of knowing her for many many years and am so proud to say she was my closest friend. There is only one Jonie. I will miss her deeply but will never forget her. I have no doubt she is at peace.
