Tom W Beavers Jr

Tom Watson Beavers Jr., 79, of Bushnell Florida passed away on March 11, 2026 peacefully at home. Tommy grew up in Houston Texas, then later graduated from Florida State University with his degree in marine biology and business. He was also a member of the Pi Kappa Phi (Beta Eta chapter) fraternity that created lifelong friendships for Tommy. After college, he went on to pursue a career as a business partner in the local hardware store, where he truly touched so many lives with his kindness, compassion, and graciousness. Tommy was never just a boss to his employees, but a friend and mentor helping mold many young adults just coming out of high school. Tommy always had the best stories from his childhood in Texas, his fraternity years, and so many hunting and fishing stories that were each just as intriguing as the last one. He was a great fisherman, loving both bass and fly fishing. He often fished out of Pana Vista Lodge in Lake Panasoffkee and took many trips out west to see family and enjoyed fly fishing in the Rockie. Tommy was proceeded in death by his parents, Tom and Rachel, and his wife Susan whom they shared many years of love together. He is survived by his two daughters: Jennifer and Jessica; his grandchildren: Olivia and Axel; his siblings: Florence(John) and Martha; and his nephews: John and Jarett. Tommy had a special relationship with the Little family, Kevin and Crystal along with their children Malia and Matthew. Always acknowledging "friends are family." Tommy will forever be remembered and greatly missed. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
