44, of St. Petersburg, Fla., transitioned on November 1, 2025. Jerome was owner-operator of several businesses in St. Petersburg, including 15 Signs Company. He pursued a career in Funeral Service, attending classes at St. Petersburg College. He was employed in the family business, Smith Funeral Home and Cremation Service, working as a Funeral Attendant and serving with the Escort Team. He is survived by his sons, Jerome B. Smith, III, Julius and Jaylen Smith; daughter, Jer'Lanni Smith; Parents, Lynda B. and Jerome B. Smith, Sr., granddaughter, Jer'nya Smith; sisters, Geneva Parker, Christal Brinson (Devontae), Shalonda Smith-Sinclair (Evon) and Brittany Rucker; finance', Johnisha Wainwright, host of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends. Funeral service Saturday, November 15, 2pm, First Baptist Church of St. Petersburg., visitation Friday, November 14, 5-7pm at New Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.
