Please accept my deepest sympathies on the death of your father. Dr. Tallman and his wife Lee were good friends of my parents, Don and Cathryn Coventry, when we were growing up in Sylvania. He was our family doctor for my entire childhood and made a house call when my appendix burst. They lived in the back rooms of our house with Bobby and Vicky while their home on Parkwood Blvd. was under construction. After they moved to Florida, my Uncle Carl Comstock and his wife bought their house and their daughter still lives there today. I have always wondered what became of Al and am pleased he had such a long and happy life. I would love to hear from Vicky or Jay via my email. May Dr. Tallman, his lovely wife and Bob all Rest In Peace!♥

We moved to Sylvania in 1951 and he was our Dr. What a great doc and also made house calls. He was one of a kind and nursed me thru a very sick
year when I was six with rheumatic fever and spent ten days at Toledo hospital. Later had to have tonsils and adnenoids out. Then again, Could
not ask for a better doc.

My condolences go out to the whole family

Dr Tallman treated the entire Knisely family - or those who hadn't grown up and moved away. He was kind, gentle - as I recall - and thorough. I still have my parents' (Homer and Lillian Knisely) medical records written in his hand. I'm so sorry for your loss. He lived a long and productive life, healing others. You can be proud of his legacy wherever he went.
