Robert Leitman Obituary

LEITMAN, Robert G., 68, of Tampa, died Wednesday, January 30, 2008. Mr. Leitman was born in Jacksonville and came to Tampa 38 years ago. He was a graduate of the University of Florida and a veteran of the U.S. Navy. Mr. Leitman was an insurance agent and a member of Congregation Rodeph Sholom. Survivors include his beloved wife of 39 years, Gladys; sons and daughters-in-law, Jeffrey and Jennifer Leitman of Tampa, and Hal and Jill Leitman of Atlanta; three grandchildren, Jack, Sophie Rose and Jarrett Leitman; sisters and brother-in-law, Nancy and David Miller and Iris Leitman; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Judy and Jerry Brownstein, Dorothy and Burt Haskins, and Martin and Roxanne Moskowitz; and nieces and nephews, Lane and Scott Miller, Cinty and Brett Kublin, Jodi Dubroff, Risa and Brett Marks, Jason and Stephanie Marks, Margo Moskowitz, and John Martin Moskowitz. Graveside services will take place at noon today at Gan Shalom Cemetery, with Rabbi Marc Sack officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Congregation Rodeph Sholom, the American Cancer Society or LifePath Hospice. An online guestbook is available at www.segalfuneralhome.com
