The purpose of life’s journey is not to arrive at the grave with a well-preserved body, but rather to Slide in Sideways, completely used up, yelling and screaming, what a ride! — Author Unknown
This describes Daddy Pat to a T. He lived life to the fullest and always lit up the room when he arrived, and believe me we knew when he arrived. Pat was old school, which I liked, family and friends came first. I can tell you any friend of the family was a friend of Pats'.
They say a measure of a mans life is the dash. You know the dash on a tombstone between date of birth and death. This represents ones life. Pats dash could fill a couple of books from what I have seen and heard.
Thanks Pat for giving me the little Brother I never had. We will all be together down the road.

"I thought of you with love today but that is nothing new
I thought about you yesterday and days before that too,
I think of you in silence I often speak your name
All I have are memories and your picture in a frame
Your memory is my keepsake with which I'll never part
God has you in His keeping I have you in my heart."
Nano, I am missing you so much and remembering all of the wonderful times I got to share with you. Like when you would take Carli and me to school in the mornings and take us to McDonald's for breakfast and during the whole car ride, you would sing funny songs and whistle the whole way there. I feel so lucky to call you my nano, and I'm glad you got to meet my son, Baby A.J. We were all truly blessed to have you in our lives. I'm happy to know that you are now an angel along with Nani, and Uncle Lil' Pat looking down and watching over us every day. I can't believe you're gone and I won't be able to come to you for advice anymore or to just be able to talk to you, laugh and joke like we always have, but I pray that you guide me through the many journeys I will encounter the rest of my life and point me in the right direction. Your memory will live on through us and you will never be forgotten.
I love you always and forever.

Dad,
You were a great father with a zest for life that was rivaled by few men that I have ever met. You were honest, fair and always there for your family and friends and I love you for that and for just being "Dad". There will be a void in my life without you physically being here ,but I know your spirit and memory will always be here with us. RC
