Carol R. Calderoni, a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother and a woman of deep faith, passed peacefully on Friday May 30, 2025 at the age of 77. She was born on October 3, 1947 in Bristol, the daughter of the late Edward and Rita Rybczyk.
Married for 56 years to the love of her life, Anthony Calderoni. Carol was a retired pharmacy technician from the Stop & Shop in Forestville, CT. Together, Carol and Anthony raised three children: Michael (Amy) Calderoni, Karen (Jared) Molis, Gina (Mark) Fowler instilling in them values of kindness, compassion and deep family connection.
Carol was a woman of strong faith and a devoted member of the Jehovah's Witnesses congregation. She found delight in the little things- the flowers blooming, the laughter of her grandchildren, the everyday moments that so many overlook. She had a gift for celebrating others and making people feel cared for and loved.
She especially loved planning trips for her family. Whether or not she was going herself, she poured her heart into it and found pure joy in the excitement of others. It was just one of the many ways Carol gave her love so freely.
She leaves behind not only her beloved husband and three children, but also her three siblings; Robert (MaryEllen) Rybczyk, Sandra (Gerald) Nadeau, James (Jeanne) Rybczyk, eight grandchildren; Angelina (Kyle)Winalski, Antonio Calderoni, Maddie Savinelli, Drew Fowler, Luke Fowler, Calder Molis, Francesca Molis and Jacob Molis, and one great-grandchild, Oliver Winalski. Carol leaves all of us with cherished memories of her warmth, her joy, and her unconditional love-gifts that will comfort and guide us always.
