I am so sorry to hear of Nancy's passing. I had been thinking about her so much lately and asked a SJM rep today if he had heard anything about her. I can see her smile, hear her laugh as we shared funny stories and laughed a lot whenever we saw each other. I bought her pontoon boat- Nauti Nancy from her. I will never forget the first day we went out on it. And the dog, "Stretch" we named him that day, went in.. we were a comedy show that day!! Nancy, RIP. I met your wonderful husband 2-3 times maybe seeing/getting the boat. My gosh, he must be so heartbroken. I am sad for those you left behind. You were a true example of love and happiness my dear.

Nancy you were always such a bright light with your beautiful smile and cute dimples. It is so hard to say goodbye to another good freind and classmate. Growing up in the same neighborhood and going to school together from elementary to high school has always held such a high spot in my heart. I will always have my fond memories of walking home together from Jackson Elementary and leaving Tomlin Jr. High going to White's Pharmacy or ReXall Drug Store for a cherry smash after school. I know God has a plan for all of us to leave this earth but sometimes it seems way to soon for some. My thoughts and prayers are with your family in this painful time. Good bye my sweet friend.

I have wonderful memories of Nancy as kids. I especially remember good times at Jackie's Dance. She was outgoing, fun, sweet and beautiful on the inside and outside. I was so sad to hear of her passing. She was a fighter and even through the rough times, she lived life to the fullest! What a wonderful legacy she left for her family and friends. What beautiful memories that will be shared often and remain in the hearts of all that knew Nancy. May God give all who loved her peace and comfort!

Dearest Nancy, what would summers growing up have been without you at the beach and other places we went when my family traveled to Florida to visit yours. Those were some of the best times of my childhood. Years, distance, and life interfered with our fun as we matured, but I'll never forget your radiant smile, sparkling personality, and fabulous sense of humor. Your heart will live on through your family, and I still cherish the memories. The Johnson sisters produced some interesting children, and I'm grateful to them for doing so and bringing us all together almost every summer. Rest in peace, sweet cousin. May peace be upon the hearts of those remaining on this side of the divide.

My late father, Joe Guggino, was one of Nancy's pacemaker patients and he adored her. Nancy treated both of my parents with such genuine care and concern. I remember thanking her, to which she responded her own parents had passed and this was her way of honoring them. My family lost touch with Nancy when my dad died in 2011 but we will always remember her fondly. Peace to all who knew and loved this special woman.

I can not describe the depth of respect I have for how Nancy lived her life. She always greeted everyone warmly, and made them feel welcomed and valued. She tried to look on the positive side of every circumstance, and faced her last challenge with grace, dignity, and her forever smile. I remain inspired by her boundless energy for life, her compassion for others, and her undying spirit. She was special, and will always remain so in my heart and in the hearts of all who knew her.

It takes a minute to find a special person, an hour to appreciate them, and a day to love them, but it takes an entire lifetime to forget them.
We will always think of how she, not only inspired us... but changed how we feel about an angel.
