Russ has always been an important part of my family. One of my dad's best cousins. He was there when my family needed someone and I will never forget how he came 100's of miles to speak at my mom's funeral. I know that Russ and Myrtle are worshipping Jesus together. Prayers for the family. Love, Pam, Brooks, and Kenzi

My condolences to The Russell Peavyhouse Family. I was fortunate to have been in his Sunday School Class at First Baptist Church of Brandon a very long time ago. He was a wonderful teacher and reminded me of my dad in looks and in his speech. I brought a picture one Sunday to show him. He said he could "see that". We will all miss him, but he is NOT going to miss us. Jim and I pray for this family.

He was one of the people who most influenced me in my High School/ College and Career years. Because of him I realized that a Christian doesn't just give "lip service" but is called to lead a life of service and Christ's example. He inspired me to read and study the Bible to get closer to God and find answers to life's problems. He was truly a godly man who touched the lives of many people!
