ANTHONY "PEAVY" MARTIN PEAVYHOUSE of Estill Springs passed this life on Wednesday, June 11, 2025 at St. Thomas West Hospital in Nashville at the age of 43.

Mr. Peavyhouse, the son of Martin George Peavyhouse of Estill Springs and the late Lavena Weaver Peavyhouse was born on July 2, 1981 in Montgomery, AL. He loved sports and playing softball. He had played on various teams in tournaments. He was an avid University of Michigan fan and three of his happiest days were when they defeated Ohio State in football the last three years. His favorite times were spent playing with his beloved Pit Bull, Nala.

In addition to his mother, Lavena Peavyhouse, he was preceded in death by grandparents, George and Elizabeth Martin Peavyhouse and James and Margie Finney Weaver.

He is survived by his father, Martin George Peavyhouse of Estill Springs; sister, Rebecca Burgraff and her husband, Joe of Estill Springs; daughter, Isabella Peavyhouse; son, Brayden Alford; nephews, Joe Burgraff (Ashton) and Jacob Micciche (Amanda); nieces, Micah Burgraff and Emily Micciche (Kane Reed); great nephews, Jeremiah and Kyren Reed and Colson Burgraff; step grandmother, Susie Weaver and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

The family will receive friends on Friday, June 13, 2025 from 6-8 PM at Grant Funeral Services. Funeral Services will be held at 1 PM on Saturday, June 14 at Grant Funeral Services with Bro. Joe Pedigo officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial donations be made in his honor to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater Chattanooga, 200 Central Avenue, Chattanooga, TN 37403 or The V Foundation for Cancer Research, 14600 Weston Parkway, Cary, NC 27513

Arrangements were placed in the care of Grant Funeral Services, LLC.
