Richard Charpentier, 71

SHREWSBURY - Richard A. Charpentier, 71, of Lake Street in Shrewsbury, died Wednesday May 21, 2014 in his home after a period of declining health.

He was born in Worcester, on June 22, 1942 to Lucien D. and Marie-Ange (Desilets) Charpentier.

He leaves four brothers; John, and Roland; who was his guardian for 40 years, Francis and David Charpentier, & many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his brother Lucien and his sister Denise Bachand.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a calling hour on Tuesday May 27, 2014 from 9-10 AM in St. Joseph's Church, 189 Oxford Street, North in Auburn, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.

The family would like to acknowledge the loving care Richard received from the former Glavin Center, Holy Trinity Hospice and the group home in which he resided.
