Joseph Provost Obituary
Princeton - Joseph A. Provost, 25 of Princeton, passed away in his home on Thursday, December 15, 2016 after a long struggle with addiction. He is now at peace. Born in Worcester on October 6, 1991, Joe was the son Albert L. and Laurie (Allen) Provost of Princeton. He was a lifetime resident of Princeton and graduated from Montachusett Regional Vocational Technical High School in Fitchburg.
Joe worked as a fire-sprinkler technician for Cogswell Sprinkler Company in Worcester for several years. He enjoyed most outdoor activities including hunting, skate boarding, snowboarding, motor biking, and playing golf. He was a big New England sports fan and spent many summers vacationing with his family at their seasonal home in Wells, Maine.
He was a kind soul and everyone who knew him loved him. He was never mean-spirited or intentionally hurtful. He was outgoing and full of life, which he lived to its fullest. He will be remembered for his big heart and refreshing sense of humor.
Besides his parents, Joe is survived and will be lovingly missed by his twin brother, Daniel A. Provost of Princeton; his maternal grandparents, Peter and Lorraine Allen of Mendon; aunts and uncles including, Peter and Robin Allen of Millville, Suzanne and Bruce Brown of Holden, Patricia Provost and Kevin Lecuyer of Worcester, Cynthia and Richard Granger of Princeton, and Norman and Roberta Provost of Spencer; and many cousins. Joe was predeceased by his grandparents, Elizabeth and Norman Provost.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Joseph's family from 5 to 7 pm on Monday, December 19, at the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main St., Holden. A funeral service honoring his life will be held privately at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O.
