Stephanie Roshto Obituary
LAFAYETTE - Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at a 10:00 AM Service in La Chapelle de Martin & Castille for Stephanie Harrison Roshto, age 38, who died on Sunday, January 19, 2014 at 1:30 AM in Lafayette General Medical Center.
Interment will be in Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery.
Pastor Caleb Silvertooth, Pastor of Central Baptist Church in Patterson, Louisiana will conduct the funeral services.
Survivors include her son, Micah Roshto; her father, Stephen Harrison and his wife, Ladonna; her mother, Elizabeth Vining; one sister, Courtnie Heltz and her husband, Hubbell; one step-sister, Tiffany Summers; two brothers, Brian Harrison and his wife, Amy, and Blake Vining; her maternal grandmother, Juanita Kirby; three nieces, Sarah Harrison, Haylie Heltz, and Mckenzie Summers; and two nephews, Ty Harrison and Baylin Bagwll.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, S.O. and Guyell Harrison; and her maternal grandfather, George Kirby.
A resident of Lafayette for most of her life, Stephanie graduated from Berwick High School in 1993. She then attended college at ULL and graduated with a double degree in Criminal Justice and a minor in Psychology. Stephanie worked at Hobby Lobby in the framing department for about 15 years. She loved working with her hands. She was exceptionally creative and enjoyed making crafts. Her son, Micah, was the sunshine of her life and she cherished spending time with him and her family. Stephanie was a loving mother, daughter, sister, aunt, granddaughter, and friend to all who knew her and will be dearly missed.
Pallbearers will be Jason Landry, Richard Metcalf, Amo Daniel, Tommy Daniel, Brian Harrison, and Hubbell Heltz.
The family requests that visitation be observed in Martin & Castille's DOWNTOWN location on Tuesday, January 21, 2014 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Wednesday 8:00 AM until time of service.
Memorial contributions can be made in Stephanie Harrison Roshto's name to the Miles Perret Cancer Services at 2130 Kaliste Saloom Road #200 Lafayette, Louisiana 70508.
