A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, February 14, 2026, 2:00 pm at Fountain Memorial Funeral Home in Lafayette, LA for Louis Duyen Le, 81, who passed away on Monday, February 2, 2026, at his residence in Lafayette, LA.

Visitation will be observed at Fountain Memorial Funeral Home in Lafayette, LA on Saturday, February 14, 2026, 11:00 am until 1:30 pm.

A Rosary will be recited on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at 1:30 pm at Fountain Memorial Funeral Home in Lafayette, LA. Music will be provided by Louis' sister-in-law.

Father Bernard Nguyen, his brother-in-law, will officiate.

Interment will be in Fountain Memorial Cemetery, Lafayette, LA.

Louis Duyen Le, was born February 25, 1944, in Quang Tri, Vietnam and was a long-time resident of Acadiana. He attended high school in Vietnam and entered the military on behalf of South Vietnam. Louis was honored to serve his country as a Captain and later given asylum by the United States. In 1975, he came to America where he met the love of his life, Marie Tam Le, in Opelousas, LA. They married and moved to Lafayette, LA in 1985, where they raised four sons. Louis most enjoyed spending time with his wife, family and his six grandchildren. Family meant everything to Louis; he leaves a legacy of love and will be deeply missed.

Louis is survived by his beloved wife of 49 years, Marie Tam Le, of Lafayette, LA; his four sons, Louis Le (wife Jessica), of The Woodlands, TX, Andre Le (wife Marylynn) of San Antonio, TX, Richard Le, of Lafayette, LA and David Le, of Lafayette, LA and his six grandchildren, Tai, Alex, Alexa, Andrew, Nathan and Anna.
