NORWALK — Ann Sofios, 100, of Norwalk, died Monday evening, March 28, 2016 at her residence.
She was born September 16, 1915 in Anderson, Indiana to the late John and Minerva (Moulos) Sofios.
Ms. Sofios was involved in the Sofios family's real estate company which owns properties in Bowling Green, Sandusky, Bellevue, Willard and Norwalk. She was known as the Sofios family care giver and enjoyed living in Europe for over five years. She enjoyed taking care of her flower garden and working outdoors. The Sofios family donated property in Norwalk for a park and soccer field.
She is survived by her nieces, Athena Sofios Marks of Los Gatos, California and Constantina Milonopoulos of Los Angeles, California. She is also survived by her three grand nephews, Christopher A. Marks, Theo Milonopoulos and Niko Milonopoulos.
She is preceded in death by her parents, sister, Francine Sofios; and brothers, Theodore and Peter Sofios.
Friends will be received Friday, April 1, from 10:30 a.m. until time of service at Noon at Evans Funeral Home, 314 East Main St. in Norwalk with the Rev. Michael C. Gulgas, pastor at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, Norwalk.
