Doris A. Haas, 97, passed away peacefully with loving family members at her side. Mrs. Haas was born and raised in Millville, graduating from Millville High School, Class of '36. Recently she had resided in Vineland at Baker Place for 2 years.

After high school, Mrs. Haas became a registered nurse serving at the Millville Hospital and also with the Visiting Nurses organization. In between nursing duties she was a homemaker and housewife raising 4 children.

She was a member of the Parish of All Saints (St. Mary's) and the Millville Woman's Club. Mrs. Haas was an avid card player, and especially loved the game of Bridge.

Mrs. Haas enjoyed going with her late husband, Larry and family members to the beaches in Ocean City, Sea Isle City and Union Lake. She loved family outings with her children and grandchildren.

Mrs. Haas is survived by a son: Lawrence J. "Larry", Jr (Linda) of Newfield; 2 daughters: Patricia Izzo (Joseph) of California and Sharon Goffredi (Robert) of Vineland; daughter in law: Teresa Haas of Pittsgrove; 10 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. Mrs. Haas was predeceased by her husband Lawrence J. Sr., son: Robert and daughter: Mary.

A Mass of the Christian Burial will be held on Friday, January 27, 2017 in the Parish of All Saints (St. Mary's) at 11 AM. Burial will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call from 9:30 -10:30 AM Friday in the Rocap Shannon Memorial Funeral Home.
