Gary Catalano Obituary
Deerfield Township - Gary F. Catalano, 72, of Deerfield Township died peacefully at home under the care of his family and hospice on Monday morning March 29, 2021.
Gary was the husband of Joann J. (nee Sparacio) Catalano to whom he had married since December 1, 1973. Additional survivors include two brothers, George Catalano (Karen) of Naperville, IL and Joel Catalano (Anna) of Oxford, TX, sisters-in-law, Marie MacDonald (Rod) and Theresa Bifulco (Gennaro), brother-in-law, Roy Spoltore, nieces, nephews and cousins. He is also survived by his Godchildren who include, Joseph John Spoltore, Umberto Joseph Bifulco, Jeffrey Catalano, Anthony Scafidi, Gia Nycee and Nicole Bostwick. Gary was predeceased by his sister-in-law, Patricia Spoltore, in 2001.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a "walk-through" visitation at the Freitag Funeral Home, 137 W. Commerce St., Bridgeton on Thursday morning April 1st from 9 until 10:30. The funeral will follow and take place at The Parish of the Holy Cross / St. Mary's R C Church at 11 o'clock.
The service will be live streamed beginning at 11 o'clock and may be accessed by clinking on the link below the obituary at freitagfuneralhome.com.
The burial will take place at St. Mary's Cemetery in Rosenhayn.
Memorial contributions are suggested in Mr. Catalano's memory to St. Mary's RC Church, c/o The Parish of the Holy Cross, 46 Central Avenue, Bridgeton, NJ 08302.
