Dearest Family and Friends of Dr. John Skularick,
I did not personally know him but want to tell you I feel that I have come to know him through stories told to me.
I moved to Forest City three years ago and have had strangers tell me that I remind them of their friend countless times. They then share a meaningful story about him with me, and they have a warm look on their eyes. He made so many lives better. If you visit this page I wanted you to read about this beautiful legacy.
Vivat Jesus!

Dr John did surgery on me when I was 15 and it was a delicate procedure especially for a teen girl. He was so professional and careful to protect my dignity. Several decades later when faced with another surgery, a plastic surgeon couldnt even tell I'd had the first surgery because Dr John had done such a good job due to my young age and his professionalism. He is fondly remembered and missed.

We were saddened to hear of John's passing. We were friends from his home town of Coldwater. We spent time together while we were in college and at Marble Lake when he and his family came to John's stepfather's cottage at the lake. John was a special person and had such a great faith. I know that he is in now in heaven .

JOHN WAS ONE OF MY DEAR FRIENDS - UNFORTUNATELY FOR ME, DISTANCE, WORK, AND MY DISLIKE FOR GOLF KEPT US FROM SPENDING MORE TIME TOGETHER.
WHEN WE DID GET TOGETHER, HE WOULD HELP ME RECALL MANY FOND MEMORIES. HIS LOVE FOR THE MAZE AND BLUE WAS UNSURPASSED.
MY LOVE AND WARM THOUGHTS ARE WITH YOUR FAMILY AND HIS MANY FRIENDS. I THINK I HAVE MAZE AND BLUE BLOOD, BUT JOHN'S IS BRIGHTER.
I AM SO THANKFUL I GOT TO TALK TO HIM LAST WEEK, MOMENTS I WILL NEVER FORGET. SUCH A LOVING, SINCERE MAN. I WAS OUT OF TOWN UNTIL TODAY WHEN I SAY DAVE DENZIN HAD CALLED.
CALLING SKUDS WAS NEAR THE TOP OF MY LIST.

YOU ALL MAY NOT KNOW HOW HARD JOHN WORKED TO GET FAMILY AND FRIEND INTO THE U OF M.
SINCE I LIVE IN ANN ARBOR IT WAS ALWAYS A SPECIAL TIME TO BE JOHN'S FRONT MAN IN THESE EFFORTS. I THINK OUR LAST EFFORT WAS FOR A FEMALE LAW STUDENT.

I AM SURE THE LORD HAS A SPECIAL PLACE FOR JOHN.

GOD SPEED WE WILL MISS YOU AND LOVE YOU UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN.
