Sybylle Gonyo Obituary
Sybylle worked at Pfizer for 20-plus years as a Chemical Operator until she retired 18 years ago. She loved country music, lobsters, traveling back home to see her four sisters, but most of all she loved spending time with her granddaughter; she was the joy of her life!
Sybylle is survived by her son Richard Gonyo and his fiancée Cathy Newlin; her granddaughter Ryleigh Gonyo; four sisters in Germany, Petra, Renate, Gaby, and Claudia.
The family would like to thank all the health care workers at Crescent Point for the wonderful care they provided to mom.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. this Thursday, Jan. 28, at Jordan Cemetery. All are welcome to attend. Due to COVID-19 regulations, we ask that those in attendance be mindful of social distancing and wear a mask at all times.
The Thomas L. Neilan & Sons Funeral Home, 12 Ocean Avenue, New London, is assisting the family with the arrangements.

Sybylle was a wonderful woman. She loved talking about her family in Germany, especially her sister Gabby. She loved her son and granddaughter very much and talked about them with a big smile on her face.
I'm very sorry about your loss Rich and Rayleigh.
