Cynthia Clayton Obituary
Mrs. Clayton was born on Oct. 10, 1954, in Bangor, Maine, the daughter of Paul and Dorothy Duston. She married Felton S. Clayton Jr. on Sept. 18, 1976 in New London. They have one child, Kelsie A. Clayton. She was employed for over 36 years as a dental assistant for the Waterford Dental Associates.
Mrs. Clayton is survived by her loving husband, Felton; and daughter, Kelsie A. Clayton of New London; two sisters, Shelley Farago, her husband and two daughters of Mystic and Sandra Goldman, her daughter and son of Groton and also Aisha Harbaugh of New London, who has always been thought of as a second daughter.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 17, 2014, in Fulton-Theroux Funeral Home, 181 Ocean Ave., New London. Calling hours will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 16, 2014, in the funeral home.

Though I did not have a chance to know Cindy, from everything I have heard about her and from what I can see in her beautiful smile - the same one she passed on to Kelsie, that she is a warm-hearted, compassionate, soul with a sense of humor and a love of life. She will most certainly be missed forever.
To lose anyone we love suddenly is tragic, and losing a mother at a young age is really heart-breaking. I am so saddened and sorry for all 3 of you, Felton, Cindy, and Kelsie to have to be parted when none of you were ready. Life is so unfair.

Cindy was one of the kindest people I ever met in my life. She also had the best sense of humor, and was never, without a loss for words.
I always enjoyed hearing her hilarious stories, especially the one about: Dr. Cianciulli!
Cindy has passed on, her all wonderful qualities, to her daughter Kelsie.
I also had the pleasure of knowing Kelsie, through my daughter Tara.
I'm thinking of you today Cindy, and all the wonderful memories you have left to all of us, who loved you.
Someday we'll be reunited again, in Heaven.

We only knew Cindy from her visits to our store across the street from the dentist office. She was always very pleasant and friendly. We would often talk about our Subarus. Her pleasant smile will be sorely missed. She was too young for God to take her home.

Oh how we will miss Cindy at the dentist. We have known her for over 30 years. She was the best! I will never forget our conversations. She would make me laugh! Dr. C loved her as his assistant for all those years. Every co-worker loved Cindy. There was no one like her! She will be so missed by every heart she has touched throughout her life.
