My condolences to the family of Cyril Gounis, my good friend from Newcastle Boys' High and many years after that. Like me he loved football and all things Greek. I liked him very much. My heart broke at the sad news of the passing of my dear friend.
We are honoured and blessed to have known Cyril. He was truly a blessing in our lives and we will never forget his kindness. We will miss him dearly.
