Debra L. Breeds

Groton - Debra L. Breeds, 61, of Groton, passed away Sunday, May 27, 2018 at St. Joseph's Hospital, in Syracuse.

Debra was born April 22, 1957 in Montrose, PA, and had been a resident of Groton for the past 27 years. She was employed with Borg-Warner in Ithaca. Debra enjoyed traveling, riding motorcycles, and she was an auto enthusiast.

She is survived by her three children, Jason Ramey, and Eric Ramey (Lorna), both of Groton, and Amanda Cassara (Tom Barber), of Lansing, nine grandchildren, her mother, Patricia (Ford) Darrow of Groton, sisters, Kelley Colwell of Charlotte, NC, and Roxanne Lyon of Berkshire, brothers, Leslie and Michael Darrow, both of Groton, and Jeffrey Darrow, of Charlotte, NC, and a large extended family. Debra was predeceased by her husband, Scott A. Breeds, and by her father, Stanley "Bert" Darrow.

Friends may call at the Shurtleff Funeral Home, 103 Lincoln Ave., Groton, on Sat. June 16, from 3 to 5 pm. A Celebration of her Life will immediately follow, at the Groton American Legion Post.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Make A Wish Foundation, Central NY Chapter, 5005 Campuswood Dr., East Syracuse, NY 13057.
