He taught me so much of faith through his sermons and with his musical glass hyms during his many visits to Camp Grace in Fletcher Park, WY.
In ways large and small I learned of faith and God through him. I am thankful to have known such a man.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Sincerely,
Nina Dodge Bookout

When I make a crystal glass "sing", I tell my grandchildren "I knew an evangelist at Victory Hills Bible Camp (Nemo, SD) who could play beautiful songs on a set of what he called "converted wine glasses." And now he's making even sweeter music in worship near the throne. Precious memories.

I was one of those Bible Camp children who remembered Elmer and the Hymns he played on the wine glasses. He really was a blessing to so many young people. To the Family - Thanks for sharing him with us.

My first thought when I saw Pastor Elmer's obituary on facebook was "he's graduated". Pastor Reimer's influence in my life goes way back to my childhood when he was the missionary for VBS at Calvary Chapel (south of Colome, SD) I remember him always as a beautiful, warm, and loving man of God. So sorry for your loss, Dave & Marilyn and family. Cindy Lenker

Goodness, I'm sitting in my office at school so overwhelmed by this notice. Uncle Elmer was such a spiritual influence in my life. He called me his "little papoose". Such love he had for kids. So, in my short interactions I had with him at Camp Witness and Homeward Trail I learned about growing in my faith. Praying for you today and know his influence goes on in each child I show God's love and compassion. Rachel(Swanson) Rekedal; children's therapist
