Pat Todd Snipes

1956 - 2014

Mrs. Pat Todd Snipes, 58, of Lancaster, passed away Sunday, Jan. 12, 2014, at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte.
She was born Aug. 30, 1956, in Lancaster, a daughter of the late James Paul Horne and Betty Rae Langley Horne.
She was a loving wife of 32 years, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She was a hard worker. She loved working with the elderly. She loved to travel, especially on cruises, loved the beach and walking on the pier. She loved life and lived it to the fullest. Her greatest enjoyment was spoiling her children and grandchildren.
A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Snipes is 3 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 16, at Antioch Baptist Church with the Rev. Trent McLaughlin officiating. Burial will be in the Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Snipes is survived by her husband, David Dalton Snipes; a son, Michael Paul Todd and his wife, Netra, of Lancaster; two daughters, Brandy Todd and her fiance, Ben Spittle, of Lancaster, and Vickie Snipes and her fiance, Bryan Gleason, of Rock Hill; two brothers, Ricky Horne and his wife, Debbie, of Lancaster, and Michael McManus of New York; a sister, Becky Lucas and her husband, Wayne, of Lancaster; three grandchildren, Alexis Brock, Marley Todd and Mallory Todd; and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Jake Horne and Phillip Allen Horne; two sisters, Nan Barrineau and Cindy Knight; and a grandchild, Soren Chilson.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today, Jan. 15, at Lancaster Funeral Home, and other times at the home of Brandy Todd, 1791 Craig Farm Road.
