I will miss you more than before. You were always in my thoughts and any time I saw and old HRS friend I ask for information. The fish will be a little safer in the hills of WV now but a new stream is always available now. We had some great times at others expense in Bartow and Winter Haven. Thanks for taking me up in the Cub and letting me fly it. Thanks for always smiling when we met. And thanks for just being Jim. Your family has my love.

Hello to the family members of Jim Johnson. I like to express my deepest sympathy on the loss of your love one. I often wonder what he has been doing since he retired. I remember that he loved his motorcycle and fishing. I met Jim through DJJ in 1996 and worked with him until he retired. Before Jim retired he assisted the Sebring Unit in partnering with the Highlands County Sheriff Office with the Mobil 1 12 Hours of Sebring. Thanks for sharing your husband and father with us. I worked with Jim at DJJ and am saddened to hear of his passing. My condolences are sent to the family. Please know he was respected and well liked. After leaving DJJ I ran into Jim several times, usually in a medical setting. Unknown to me, he was ill. May your good memories carry you through this difficult time.
