EDWARD
FRANCIS GOODEMOTE, 89

LAKELAND - Edward Francis Goodemote passed away on Tuesday, November 20, 2018. He was born on February 2, 1929 in Batavia, NY to Cecil and Mary Goodemote.
He was a United States Army Korean War veteran.
Edward worked for General Motors in Product Engineering, Design and Drafting department for many years.
He enjoyed ardent golfing, enjoyed archery and was an amateur artist.
Edward was a loving husband, father and grandfather, and loved spending time with his family.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Robert Goodemote.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Beverly; his sons, Edward Goodemote (Marty) of Lakeland, FL., Stephen Goodemote (Catherine) of Ellicott City, MD., Mark Goodemote (Andy LaPage) of Euless, TX., six grandchildren, six step-grandchildren, four great- grandchildren and two sisters, Doris Boyce of Batavia, NY and Marian Lamka (Walter) of Greenville, TN.
A memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, November 29, 2018 at Resurrection Catholic Church, 333 Terrace Way, Lakeland, FL, 33813 with an inurnment on Friday, November 30, 2018 at 9:30 am at Sarasota National Cemetery, 9810 State Rd 72, Sarasota, FL, 34241.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations to be made to the American Cancer Society, www.cancer.org
