Trinidad Salinas Obituary
ALAMO - Trinidad "Trino" Salinas, 86, died Tuesday, December 30, 2008 at Rio Grande Regional Hospital in McAllen.
Born in Rancherias, Tamps., Mexico, Mr. Salinas had lived in Alamo all of his life.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Baudilia "Nena" Salinas.
Mr. Salinas is survived by four children, Jose T. Salinas of McAllen, Rene Elaido Salinas of Houston, Texas, Homero Salinas and Rolando (Priscilla) Salinas, both of Alamo; three grandchildren, Diego, Chelsea and Reagan; two brothers, Fidencio Salinas of Pharr and Luis Salinas of Alamo; three sisters, Juanita Figueroa, Lydia Trujillo and Natividad Garcia, all of Alamo; and a niece who he raised, Mariana Romero of San Juan.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary today, January 1, 2009, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will be at 9 a.m, Friday, January 2, 2009, at Resurrection Catholic Church in Alamo. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Alamo.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.

I am saddened by your loss. My sincere condolences.
I was Mr. Salinas' casemanager for a while and always looked forward to seeing him - I truly enjoyed my visits with him. He was very proud of all of his children and spoke fondly of all of them.
