Donald Shelby Obituary

Bryan, TX - Donald McCall Shelby of Bryan, Texas, passed away at his home on Thanksgiving Day, November 26, 2020 at the age of 85.

Services for Don will be held at St. Thomas Episcopal Church in College Station on Saturday, December 5, 2020 at 3pm. Visitation will be from 1:30pm - 2:30pm. Military Graveside will be held at 1:15pm Tuesday, December 8th at Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio.

He was a great teacher/ instructor, a great role model but most of all a great friend. Because of his stories and the other instructor's stories about Panama I joined the military. My first duty station was Panama. I served for 21 years, thank you Sir. You will be missed very much. My condolence and prayer's to the family.

A wonderful man, teacher, and best of all an fellow Army Veteran that had the pleasure to I know him while in high school 82-86. He Influence me a lot to join the military and for that I am grateful 33 years and retired thanks to LTC Shelby. May you rest in peace Sir.
