JON TWINING Obituary
at the age of 58, Jon Trent Twining passed away in his home in San Antonio after a long battle with brain cancer on June 23, 2009 with family members at his side.
He was born on June 10, 1951 in Fostoria, Ohio. He is survived by his devoted wife of 25 years, Gloria, his loving children Vanessa, Veronica, Jessica and Jon, and loyal pet Timmy. He is also survived by his mother Barbara Mansfield, brother Thomas Twining and sister Deborah Twining and a long list of family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his father Oscar Twining, step mother Barbara Twining, and in-laws Bernardo and Maria Salome Guerrero.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Serafin Vasquez, Dr. Andrew Brenner, Dr. John Diaz Day, Dr. Aidnag Z. Diaz, St. Luke's Baptist Hospital, Cancer Therapy & Research Center, Christus Santa Rosa Hospice and all the wonderful nurses who stood by his side. A special thanks to Donna Stevens for her comforting words and support.
Viewing will be at time 5 p.m. on Friday, June 26, 2009 and funeral service at 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 27, 2009 at Brookside Champions Funeral Home of Houston, Texas. Interment will follow at Earthman Resthaven in Houston, Texas.
Funeral arrangements are under the care of Brookside Champions Funeral Home of Houston, Texas.

Dearest Gloria and Family,

He is NOW at peace with the LORD in HEAVEN and is no longer experiencing the agonizing pain he had been enduring on this earth. Gloria I would like to share with you and your family a little poem someone shared with me when I lost my mom.
