LIMA - Glen Twining, 78, of Lima, passed away on Friday, December 26, 2025, at St. Rita's Medical Center. He was born on May 26, 1947, in Lima to the late William S. and Zenith {Jordan} Twining.
On September 3, 1966, he married Nadine {Cox} who survives in Lima. Glen was a Masonry Superintendent for Peterson Construction Company for 40 years. He was a member of the Bricklayers Local 22 and enjoyed fishing, boating, gambling, attending his grandchildren's activities, and watching sports, especially The Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cincinnati Bengals.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children: Renee (Kip) Lee, Laura (Brian) Sharp, Bill (Cindy) Twining, and David (Jodie) Twining; grandchildren: Destiny (Matt) White, Danielle (Zach) McMichael, Kip (Kaytlynn) Lee, Kasey (Killyan) Lee, Kolin (Destiny) Lee, Kalen Lee, Thomas Pomaville, Cole (Kaya) Brinker, Derek (Summer) Twining, Ryan (Samantha) Twining, Dylan Twining, and Bryana Twining; 13 great-grandchildren; siblings, James (Sharon) Twining and Twila (Robb) Carr; and brother-in-law, Dale Henderson.
He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings: William S. Twining Jr., Mary Virginia Johns, Harry (Alice) Twining, Elsie Plikerd, Nancy Henderson, Loren (Blanche) Twining, Janet Rudisill, Theresa Swallow, and Thomas Twining.
His family will receive friends on Friday, January 2, 2026, from 2-8 P.M. at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, where a funeral service will follow at 8 P.M. Memorial contributions may be made to Donor's Choice. Online condolences may be made by visiting www.chamberlainhuckeriede.com.
