To the Munch Family, Ray and I are so sorry to hear of Melanies passing. The Russell family lived next door to the Munchs for many years. Our daughter Renee as a baby would always be given cookies when she saw the Munchs and the girls would babysit for us. Melanie was such a warm and giving person as was all the family. She will be truly missed!

Miss Melanie and Mr. Melvin were so kind and generous. My children spent happy days at their camp with their grandchildren . They loved going to watch the St. Patrick's Day parade at their home.
May all the happy memories sustain you now. I know Miss Melanie is in the company of the Saints.

Aunt Melaine was a very special person always to me. As a child I would spend the night on weekends and during the summer also. She and Uncle Melvin would take me to the camp in Little Woods also. My life was better as a child because of Aunt Melaine and Uncle Melvin including me in their family functions. My mother had to work a lot and didn't drive so having them in my life along with Aunt May and Uncle Willie, I didn't miss out on a good childhood. When we lose those we love, their footprints on our heart stay behind so we don't forget the wonderful memories of love we received from those we love who in turn loved us. Aunt Melaine lives on thru all of us who know and love her.
My thoughts and prayers are with Uncle Melvin and all of her children, grandchildren, and family and friends who know and love her.

To the Munch Family, I have fond memories of taking my confirmation class with Mrs. Munch at Metairie Evangelical. The King Cake baby theme is how we got donuts in our weekly Saturday morning class. My sincere condolences for your loss.
