A religious service was held in Naples, Florida where she resided. She leaves behind to mourn her passing, the love of her life, Gene Piotrowsky. Kim was a cherished and loved daughter of Raymond A. McGuire, Jr. and Mary Toole McGuire, loving sister and best friend of Melanie McGuire and her husband, Alan Roux. Kim was preceded in death by her loving grand-parents, Rose and Bill LaFleur and Sadie and Raymond McGuire, Sr. Kim had a joyous spirit and was always happy making people laugh and feel special. Kim began her dancer/actor career at NORD Theatre (Ty Tracy), Gallery Circle Theatre, N.O. and Minacapelli Dinner Theatre, Slidell. Kim appeared on the ""Live! with Regis and Kathie Lee"" show to promote ""Cry Baby"". Kim became an author after Hurricane Katrina because she wanted to share her experiences of losing her home and all her possessions during the hurricane in Biloxi, Mississippi. Despite the difficulties of having to relocate to Alabama, Kim was able to maintain her resilience and perseverance. Kim and Gene were grateful to the wonderful and caring people of Alabama whom they met after Katrina whose help was a blessing. The outpouring of love and prayers for Kim from her family, friends and fans has been overwhelming and most comforting. Kim's parents and sister thank you very much. Kim was a dancer, choreographer, actor, attorney and author and credited her dear father for instilling in her a love of learning.
