Ray Nunn Sr. Obituary

Ray Lee Nunn Sr., 58, of Upton, passed away Thursday, Jan. 5, 2017, at University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington.

He was born in Bonnieville to Thomas and Helen Heath Nunn. He was a construction contractor.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Thomas Eddie Nunn; and a grandchild, Mason Nunn.

Survivors include his loving wife, Peggy Tucker Nunn of Upton; three sons, Ray Lee (Megan) Nunn Jr., Michael Ray (Amie) Nunn, both of Sonora, and Anthony Todd (B.J.) Nunn of Upton; a daughter, Samantha Dailey of Elizabethtown; a sister, Wanda (Johnny) Westbrook of Sonora; three brothers, Larry (Gale) Nunn, Karry Nunn and Timmy (Linda) Nunn, all of Bonnieville; and nine grandchildren.

The funeral is at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 9, at Manakee Funeral Home in Upton with the Rev. Mike Walker officiating. Burial follows in Three Forks Bacon Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation is from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday and continues at 9 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
