Dolores Bohn Obituary
Dolores Ruth Bohn, age 84, of Waukau, died comfortably surrounded by family singing hymns of love and praise, on Friday, July 18, 2014. She was born in Oshkosh on July 23, 1929, the daughter of the late Erwin and Edna (Hartman) Albrecht. She graduated from Oshkosh High School, class of 1947, and worked for New American Bank. On June 7, 1952 she married her high school sweetheart, Donald Bohn, and raised her family in Waukau. Dolores dedicated her time and talents to Waukau United Methodist Church and the Waukau Community. Dolores will be remembered for her compassionate heart, beautiful singing, and creativity.
Dolores is survived by her husband, Don; children: Michael (Gail) Bohn of Rush Lake, Bruce (Barb) Bohn of Waukau, and Nancy (Lance) Crouch of East Hampton, CT; grandchildren: Nicole Evans, Jason Bohn; Cori (Adam) Patrick, Mikaela (Luke) Hatfield; Wesley, Jillian and Claire Crouch; great-grandchildren: Laura and Guy Evans; Gideon, Breck, Kieran, and Melia Patrick; Traeger and Ataly Hatfield; siblings: David (Sue) Albrecht and Sue (Jack) Slye; and brother-in-law, Tom Bowen. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Sarah Bohn; siblings: Ken Albrecht, Phyllis Albrecht and Shirley Bowen.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday, July 22, 2014 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday, July 23 at Waukau United Methodist Church, 2644 State Rd. 116, Waukau, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Neil Wilson officiating. Burial will be in Waukau Cemetery, Waukau, WI.
The family extends a special thank you to the staff at Oakwood Manor, especially Kari, and to Generations Hospice, for their wonderful care.
A memorial fund in Dolores' name is being established for Waukau Methodist Church.
