Condolences to the family, especially Blue Jay. I met Mary Jo in high school. She was fun fun-loving and kind. Mary Jo touched my life, and left me with fond memories. May you rest in peace, friend.

My prayers go out to all the Henning family members especially my good friends Blue Jay and Rick.
Mary Jo is a very special person, blessed by God to be a blessing to everyone she met.
I cherish the memories of our relationship and thank God for our time together.
May our faith in the resurrection of Jesus Christ strengthen us all as we grieve the loss of Mary Jo from our presence.

Dear Henning cousins, I just received this obituary from Sondra today about Mary Jo. I'm so very sad to hear this news. Though we haven't been in contact in some time, I wanted you to know you are in my thoughts and prayers. I remember as kids when Jackie would come to town from Milwaukee and how much fun we used to have seeing him. Even a time when Mary Jo and Jay Jean came to stay over night at my house. Also heard about losing your mom recently too. I pray you all have the peace and comfort of the Lord in your hearts to help you through this time. Take care Love Joni

I always have greatly missed my first friends, Mary Jo and Jay Jean Henning. Their grandparents' yard and ours shared a boundary. My earliest memory is being lifted over the white picket fence to play with the girls on their swingset. Godspeed, Mary Jo!
