Jeffrey Steven "Ray-Ray" Romero

1969 - 2018

Romero, Jeffrey Steven "Ray-Ray" 48 of Pontiac Michigan joined our Lord Jesus Christ on March 29 th, 2018. Jeffrey was born on July 7th, 1969. He is survived by his parents Joseph and Judith Romero. His daughter Autumn Miller (Romero), his siblings Jay Romero (Val), Stevie Romero (Tami), Tracy Romero-Arndt (Brad) and Kelly Romero-Bettridge (Chris "Big C"). His nephews Nick Forgione and PFC Stephen Romero, nieces Taylor Miles, Hannah Bettridge, Carys Bettridge and great niece Lily Green. Also, the many, many friends who he considered his family. Jeff was employed with Ford motor company for 18 years and was a proud Union member of Local 2280. Jeff made no excuse for his love of Christ and if you were around him long enough you too would believe. Jeff was a savant in his knowledge of sports and social/political dialogue. Most likely due to his insatiable appetite for literature. Jeff was always up for a good debate, he was tough as nails on the wrestling mat, the football field and the golf course. If Jeff loved you once, he loved you forever. As one friend said, "He is an amazing soul, difficult to explain, need to experience it, to appreciate it." The family will be receiving friends and Family on Monday, April 9th, 2018 at Huntoon Funeral Home 855 West Huron St. Pontiac, MI. From 4-8 p.m. Mass will be held at 10 am on Tuesday, April 10th, 2018 Saint Lawrence Catholic Church 44633 Utica Rd. Utica MI.
