Loving father of David (Jennifer) Chodyniecki, Cheryl (Stanley) Pobe, and Timothy (Kristen) Davis; beloved grandfather of Brenden, Tyler and Brianna Chodyniecki, Sammantha and Christopher Gendron, and Alyssa and Timothy Davis; dear brother of Ben (Dorothy), Carleen Ward (late John), Julia (Gene) Zyla, and preceded in death by Edward, Albert (Loraine), Alex, and Joseph; brother-in-law of Viola, Rose, and Irma. Mr. Chodyniecki was a graphic artist, was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was a member and trustee of V.F.W. Heart of the Lakes Post #1008. The Funeral Mass will be held Friday, September 6, 2013, 10:30 a.m. at Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church, 2700 Waldon Road, Orion Twp. Celebrant Father Joe Dailey. The family will receive friends Thursday 3 to 8 p.m. at the RIVERSIDE CHAPEL, Simpson-Modetz Funeral Home, 5630 Pontiac Lake Road, Waterford, and at the church on Friday from 10 a.m. until time of Mass.
