GEORGIA COYNE Obituary

COYNE, GEORGIA R.; of Clarkston; formerly of Flushing; age 68; died Friday, November 9, 2012; in Clarkston. Funeral Service will be 3 p.m. Monday, November 12, 2012 at Rossell Funeral Home. A private burial will be later at Flushing Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. Monday until time of the service. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association. Georgia was born in Flint, MI on July 10, 1944, the daughter of George and Eunice (Turner) Coyne. She graduated from Flushing High School in 1962 and she was a competitive swimmer. She enjoyed skiing in Austria and Colorado. Georgia had worked as a computer programer at GM and retired from EDS as a Senior Programer Analyst. After her retirement, she enjoyed gardening, cooking, and bird watching. Georgia is survived by her mother, Eunice Coyne and brother, Greg; and wife Shannie Coyne, all of Flushing; nephew, Connor and wife Jessica Coyne of Flint and their daughter, Mary; niece, Caitlin Coyne of Austin, TX; nephew, Christopher and wife Catherine Coyne of Manchester, UK; special cousin, Cecily Hoogerhyde of FL; and cousin, Thomas and wife Sonja Turner of AL. She was preceded in death by her father. Arrangements by Rossell Funeral Home, Inc., 307 E. Main St., Flushing, MI.
