What an inspiring young woman! I am so sorry about what has happened. It is senseless to lose a kind, good hearted, talented person like this.

My wife and I regularly saw and waved to her when she was out for her run, she always smiled and waved back, she was also a co-worker of my son's at the hospital where she worked and was greatly respected and loved there...this is a terrible loss for everyone.....may you rest in peace Alex.

I met Alexandra in one of our online classes. She was a very sweet person. Her writing was exceptional as she would write stories about her life. I noticed her name on the class rooster and I thought, oh goodie, Alexadra's in this class too.
I was truly looking forward to reading Alexandra's poetry.
Lord God please wipe any harsh memories away,
As Ally enters the gates of Heaven this day,
She touch so many,
Her heart was plenty.
I pray she rests,
always.

Ally was the most unique woman I'd ever known. Even as a teen, she was wise beyond her years, and I still think of the all witty things she said at random times in life. She was blunt and sassy, you always knew where you stood with her, and she could always be counted on to lift your spirits and make you laugh. Ally was more than just a victim of a vicious act of violence--she was a good person, a wonderful daughter, an author, and a future bestseller.
