Daniel McCreary of Perkasie Daniel McCreary, age 65, of Perkasie, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 18, 2016. He was the beloved husband of Carolyn McCreary, with whom he shared over 19 years of marriage. Born September 27, 1950 in Phoenixville, he was the son of the late Chester H. and Janet E. McCreary. Daniel enjoyed the beach, doing puzzles and fishing. He also loved his Philadelphia sports teams and going to Disney World. “Lawn Maintenance”, WAWA coffee and Miller Lite were among some of his favorite things. He enjoyed spending time with his friends, but above all else he cherished his family and the times they spent together. He will be greatly missed. In addition to his wife, Daniel is survived by his children Brian McCreary and his wife Kara, Jeffrey McCreary, Meaghan Luttrell and her husband Matthew, Lauren Greaves and her husband Douglas; grandchildren Karlie, Joshua, Matthew, Jason, Mark and Maggie McCreary; brothers Thomas McCreary and Gary McCreary and his wife Patricia. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Donald McCreary. Family and friends are invited to attend his memorial service at 11 AM on Thursday, January 21, 2015 at Calvary Church, 820 Rte. 113, Souderton, PA 18964, where the family will greet guests from 10-11 AM. Please use Steeple Entrance. Interment will take place at Plumsteadville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Daniel’s name may be made to Fox Chase Cancer Center, 333 Cottman Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19111-2497.
